Kodo or कोदो is a corn which is grown in almost every parts of Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and tropical and sub tropical regions. कोदो plant resembles the paddy plant and its corn are grown in clusters similar to paddy. There are many varieties of corn (कोदो) such as Finger Millet (Kodo), Sorghum Millet, Proso Millet, Pearl Millet, Foxtail Millet, Little Millet, Buckwheat Millet etc.

The Kodo is the Nepali spoken word for Finger Millet. It’s flour is called Kodo Ko Dhido in Nepali.
